1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 358
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 358 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 18 through 23 with the following:
4 ""Seller" means all owners, beneficiaries of a trust,
5 contract purchasers, or lessees of a ground lease, who have
6 an owner, beneficiary of a trust, contract purchaser or
7 lessee of a ground lease, who has an interest (legal or
8 equitable) in residential real property. However, "seller"
9 shall not include any person who has both (i) never occupied
10 the residential real property and (ii) never had the
11 management responsibility for the residential real property
12 nor delegated such responsibility for the residential real
13 property to another person or entity."; and
14 on page 2, line 28, by deleting "new"; and
15 on page 2, lines 31 through 33, by replacing "knowledge, or
16 if the disclosure document is rendered inaccurate at closing
17 by any act or occurrence prior to closing" with "knowledge";
18 and
19 on page 6, line 30, by replacing "that" with "seller
20 reasonably believes".
