Appropriates $50,000 to the Department of Human Services
to develop a bilingual educational program to be published in
the Chicago metropolitan Hispanic media informing the public
about alcoholism, drug dependency, and teen pregnancy.

1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Department of Human
2 Services.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The amount of $50,000, or so much of that
6 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department
7 of Human Services for the development of a bilingual
8 educational program to be published in the Chicago
9 metropolitan Hispanic media. The program shall educate the
10 public about alcoholism, drug dependency, and teen pregnancy.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
12 1, 1997.
