Illinois Compiled Statutes - Full Text
Information maintained by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.
Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.
(215 ILCS 109/75) Sec. 75. Application of other law. (a) All provisions of this Act and other applicable law that are not in conflict with this Act shall apply to managed care dental plans and other persons subject to this Act. To the extent that any provision of this Act or rule under this Act would prevent the application of any standard or requirement under the Network Adequacy and Transparency Act to a plan that is subject to both statutes, the Network Adequacy and Transparency Act shall supersede this Act. (b) Solicitation of enrollees by a managed care entity granted a certificate of authority or its representatives shall not be construed to violate any provision of law relating to solicitation or advertising by health professionals.(Source: P.A. 104-334, eff. 8-15-25.) |
