Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS)

Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.

Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

    Sec. 3.04. Compensation. Each Director including the Chairman, except for the Chairman of the Chicago Transit Authority who shall not be compensated by the Authority, shall be compensated at the rate of $25,000 per year.
    Officers of the Authority shall not be required to comply with the requirements of "An Act requiring certain custodians of public moneys to file and publish statements of the receipts and disbursements thereof", approved June 24, 1919, as now or hereafter amended.

    Sec. 3.04. Compensation. Each Director including the Chairman, shall be compensated at the rate of $15,000 per year. Payments shall be made monthly. A director shall not be eligible for pay for a month if the director is absent from any regularly scheduled meeting, unless due to illness or an emergency.
    Directors shall be required to complete an annual training on financial management and procurement laws, policies, and procedures. Directors who failed to complete the required trainings shall not be eligible for compensation.
