Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS)
Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

Sec. 2.18a. (a) The provisions of this Section apply to collective bargaining
agreements (including extensions and amendments to existing agreements)
between Service Boards or transportation agencies subject to the jurisdiction
of Service Boards and their employees, which are entered into after January 1, 1984.
(b) The Authority shall approve amended budgets prepared by Service Boards
which incorporate the costs of collective bargaining agreements between
Service Boards and their employees. The Authority shall approve such an
amended budget provided that it determines by the affirmative vote of 12
of its then members that the amended budget meets the standards established
in Section 4.11.
