Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS)
Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.
Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.
(30 ILCS 735/6) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 9306) Sec. 6. Grants; sources and amounts. Urban and Community Forestry Assistance Grants shall be made available from appropriations from the General Revenue Fund, Illinois Forestry Development Fund, or other sources as appropriated by the General Assembly. All grants shall be limited to projects for which the applicant will provide any costs or matching funds as required under the notice of funding opportunity for the grant for which they have applied. In the event that any unit of local government's contribution to the payment of the program's cost is to be made by contribution of in-kind service, the application shall set forth in detail how such contribution will be made. In-kind contributions shall follow and meet all current federal and State grant requirements for in-kind contributions as set out in the grant award. Units of local government may delegate program administration, including the receipt and expenditure of funds, to special boards by ordinance.(Source: P.A. 104-421, eff. 1-1-26.) |
