    Sec. 5-45.35. Emergency rulemaking. To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly, emergency rules implementing this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Illinois State Police. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare.
    This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly.

    Sec. 5-45.35. Emergency rulemaking; temporary licenses for health care. To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of Section 66 of the Medical Practice Act of 1987, Section 65-11.5 of the Nurse Practice Act, and Section 9.7 of the Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987, emergency rules implementing the issuance of temporary permits to applicants who are licensed to practice as a physician, advanced practice registered nurse, or physician assistant in another state may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare.
    This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly.

    Sec. 5-45.35. Emergency rulemaking; rural emergency hospitals. To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly, emergency rules implementing the inclusion of rural emergency hospitals in the definition of "hospital" in Section 3 of the Hospital Licensing Act may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Department of Public Health. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare.
    This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly.

To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of the Substance Use Disorder Residential and Detox Rate Equity Act, emergency rules implementing the Substance Use Disorder Residential and Detox Rate Equity Act may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Department of Human Services and the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare.
    This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly.

To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of the changes made in Sections 8.1 and 8.2 of the Illinois Police Training Act, emergency rules implementing the waiver process under Sections 8.1 and 8.2 of the Illinois Police Training Act may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare.
    This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly.
