Sec. 5-415. In the Department of Transportation. For terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Secretary of
Transportation shall receive an annual salary of $200,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2023, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Secretary shall receive an increase in salary based on a cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly.
For terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Assistant Secretary of Transportation shall receive an annual salary of $170,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2023, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Assistant Secretary shall receive an increase in salary based on a cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly.
