(5 ILCS 100/5-45.36) (Text of Section from P.A. 103-9) (Section scheduled to be repealed on June 7, 2024) Sec. 5-45.36. Emergency rulemaking. To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of Section 234 of the Illinois Income Tax Act, emergency rules implementing that Section may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Department of Revenue. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare. This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly.

Emergency rulemaking; Medicaid reimbursement rates for hospital inpatient and outpatient services. To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of the changes made by this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly to Sections 5-5.05, 14-12, 14-12.5, and 14-12.7 of the Illinois Public Aid Code, emergency rules implementing the changes made by this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly to Sections 5-5.05, 14-12, 14-12.5, and 14-12.7 of the Illinois Public Aid Code may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare. This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly.
