SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas O. "Tom" Falb, who passed away on October 25, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Tom Falb was born in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Tom Falb worked as a lawyer in the Alton and St. Louis areas; he was Assistant State's Attorney in Madison County and had a 40-year career as a trial attorney with the law firms Reed, Armstrong and Gorman and Williamson, Webster, Falb & Glisson; and

WHEREAS, Tom Falb was known for a variety of talents; he was lead guitarist for his band, The Infidels; he was a pilot, sailor, hunter, and snorkeler; he was often the life of the party and was most known for the love he had for his wife and children; and

WHEREAS, Tom Falb was a loving husband to his wife, Sandy Falb; a caring and supportive father to his children, Jorie, Danielle, and Derek; and brother to John, Monty, and Becky; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas O. "Tom" Falb and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Tom Falb as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
