| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Francisco "Poncho" Antonio Pulido Sr. of | 4 | | Alton, who passed away on February 22, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Francisco Pulido Sr. was born in Granite City to | 6 | | Jesus and Mary (Rodriguez) Pulido on July 24, 1928; he married | 7 | | Margarita Lopez in St. Louis, Missouri on October 21, 1950; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Francisco Pulido Sr. worked as a crane hooker at | 9 | | Laclede Steel and retired after 40 years; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Francisco Pulido Sr. was a member of St. Mary's | 11 | | Catholic Church in Alton; he loved to barbecue and keep his | 12 | | cars clean; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Francisco Pulido Sr. was preceded in death by his | 14 | | parents; his three sisters; his two-half sisters; and one-half | 15 | | brother; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Francisco Pulido Sr. is survived by his wife, | 17 | | Margarita; his daughters, Gloria (Ron) Pugh and Olivia | 18 | | (Charlie) Fischer; his son, Francisco (Mary) Pulido Jr.; his | 19 | | grandchildren, Frank (Angie) Kuchnicki, Erika (Ed) Jacobs, | 20 | | Francisco "Paco" Pulido III, Eric (Amy) Pulido, Marcos (Stacy) |
