| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | | 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Marist High School | | 4 | | varsity volleyball team, the RedHawks, on winning the 2018 | | 5 | | Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 4A State | | 6 | | Championship; and
| | 7 | | WHEREAS, The RedHawks won the championship with a 25-21, | | 8 | | 25-11 victory over Downers Grove North High School at Redbird | | 9 | | Arena on the campus of Illinois State University; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, The RedHawks compiled a season record of 39 wins
| | 11 | | and three losses on their way to their second-consecutive Class | | 12 | | 4A state championship; and
| | 13 | | WHEREAS, The RedHawks are led by Head Coach Jordan Vidovic
| | 14 | | and assistant coaches Monica Estand and Jenny Phelan;
the | | 15 | | managers are Brendan Chausse and Anna Simmons; and
| | 16 | | WHEREAS, The RedHawks are Tess Brennan,
