SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Barbara J. "Babs" Dahl of Villa Park, who passed away at the age of 60; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Dahl was a passionate opponent of bullying and a fighter for the downtrodden; she also volunteered in her community, donated food to pantries and the homeless, sponsored children in poverty across the globe, and served the PADS Ministry; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Dahl was the beloved wife of Erwin "Erv" Dahl; the loving mother of Drew J., Olivia L., and Henry N. Dahl; the dear grandmother of Oliver T.; the fond sister of Linda (Stephen) Clouse; and the dear aunt of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Barbara J. "Babs" Dahl; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Barbara Dahl as an expression of our sympathy.
