1     AN ACT concerning health.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by adding
5 Section 4.6 as follows:

6     (225 ILCS 10/4.6 new)
7     Sec. 4.6. Vaccination requirements for employees. No
8 person may be employed by a child care facility that cares for
9 children ages 6 and under unless that person shows proof of
10 having received: (i) one dose of the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria,
11 and pertussis) vaccine; and (ii) 2 doses of the measles, mumps,
12 and rubella (MMR) vaccine or shows proof of immunity to MMR.
