HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of James
4Joseph Moehlenhof of Peoria, who passed away on February 28,
52015; and
 
6    WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof was born on April 9, 1954 in
7Peoria; his parents were Joseph Henry and Mary Ann (nee Pegg)
8Moehlenhof; he married Mary Jo McGrath on June 27, 1981 at St.
9Mark Catholic Church in Peoria; and
 
10    WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof attended Western Illinois
11University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in
12Accounting; shortly after, he became a Certified Public
13Accountant and Certified Management Accountant; and
 
14    WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof served as the director of finance
15at Heyl, Royster, Voelker, and Allen, P.C.; and
 
16    WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof enjoyed serving his
17neighborhood; he served as president of the Arbor District
18Neighborhood Association and was a member of St. Mark Catholic
19Church and the American Institute of Certified Public
20Accountants; and

1    WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof enjoyed spending time with his
2family and following the St. Louis Cardinals; and
 
3    WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof was preceded in death by his
4parents and a sister; and
 
5    WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof is survived by his wife, Mary Jo;
62 children, Michael James Moehlenhof and Brian Philip
7Moehlenhof; 2 siblings, Margaret "Pegg" Moehlenhof Isbell and
8John Moehlenhof; 9 nieces and nephews; and 6 great-nieces and
9nephews; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
11NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
12we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of
13James Joseph Moehlenhof; and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of James Moehlenhof as an expression of
16our sympathy.
