HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the owners and employees of the ILMO Products Company on the occasion of the company's 100th anniversary in 2013; and

WHEREAS, The ILMO Products Company is a single-source supplier of industrial and specialty gases and welding and cutting equipment; the company has locations in Jacksonville, Granite City, Decatur, Litchfield, Mattoon, Mount Vernon, Granite City, Peoria, Quincy, Springfield, and St. Louis, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, The ILMO Products Company was created in Jacksonville in 1913, when D.O. Floreth and his father, H.J. Floreth, opened Illinois Tire and Battery Vulcanizing; the company is still owned and operated by fourth-generation members of the Floreth family and serves over 3,500 customers in Illinois and Missouri; and

WHEREAS, The ILMO Products Company is well known throughout the Midwest for its commitment to quality products and superb customer service; and

WHEREAS, The owners and employees of the ILMO Products Company serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the owners and employees of the ILMO Products Company on the occasion of the company's 100th anniversary and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the ILMO Products Company as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
