| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Deborah Elizabeth Taylor of Chicago, who | 4 | | passed away on December 26, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor was born in Chicago on the South | 6 | | Side to Eugenia and Bradley Taylor on October 14, 1951; she | 7 | | attended Doolittle Elementary and Wedell Phillips High School; | 8 | | she married Charles Winston II; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor was a Muslim who believed in the | 10 | | well being of her family members and harmony in relationships; | 11 | | and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor was a hardworking, dedicated | 13 | | member of her community and was never afraid to stand up for | 14 | | what she believed was right; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor was preceded in death by her | 16 | | parents; her brothers, Brad, James, Ernest, Warden, and David; | 17 | | and her sisters, Dorsey and Gene; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor is survived by her son, Charles | 19 | | Winston III (Erika); her daughter, Stacie Winston; her | 20 | | grandchildren, Milton Howard, Brianna Winston, Rasheedah |
