1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the
4 Winchester West Central Coop boys basketball team on the
5 occasion of the team's wonderful season; and

6     WHEREAS, After a hard-fought season, the Winchester West
7 Central Coop boys basketball team placed second in the IHSA
8 Class 1A State Tournament; the team ended the season with an
9 impressive 30-4 record; and

10     WHEREAS, The members of the Winchester West Central Coop
11 boys basketball team are Josh Shipley, Parker Day, Luke Nash,
12 Colin VanDeVelde, Dylan Guthrie, Jordan Boehs, Wes Buhlig,
13 Jimmy Fryman, Austen Boehs, Pete Wade, Corey Barnett, Dylan
14 Cawthon, and Blake Lomelino; the team's head coach is Jeff
15 Abell and the assistant coaches are Denny Vortman and Mark
16 Sager; and

17     WHEREAS, The members of the Winchester West Central Coop
18 boys basketball team serve as models of hard work, talent, and
19 dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore,
20 be it

21     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1 NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
2 we congratulate the members of the Winchester West Central Coop
3 boys basketball team on the occasion of the team's wonderful
4 season and wish them continued success and happiness in the
5 future; and be it further

6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to the Winchester West Central Coop boys basketball
8 team as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
