| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Paul Eugene Kroenlein of Moweaqua, who | 4 | | passed away on June 13, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein was born on May 19, 1920 in Oconee; | 6 | | his parents were George Nicholas and Bertha Della (nee Tabor) | 7 | | Kroenlein; he married Marietta Buckley in 1940 in St. Louis, | 8 | | Missouri; she preceded him in death in 1963; he later married | 9 | | LaVon Robinson-Burgener in 1972; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein was a member of the First United | 11 | | Methodist Church of Moweaqua, Masonic Lodge 180 A.F. & A.M., | 12 | | the Springfield Consistory, and the Ansar Shriners; he was also | 13 | | a Past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein served as Shelby County Supervisor | 15 | | and was a member of the County Board; he also served as a | 16 | | member of the Moweaqua Elevator Board and as Penn Township | 17 | | Supervisor; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein was a farmer and pilot; he was also | 19 | | co-owner of FBAC Go-Kart Track and was the first Kawasaki | 20 | | dealer in the downstate area; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein was preceding in death by his | 2 | | parents and his first wife, Marietta; and | 3 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein is survived by his wife, LaVon; a | 4 | | son, Don (Linda) Kroenlein; 2 step-sons: Larry (Sandy) Burgener | 5 | | and Mike (Diane) Burgener; 5 grandchildren, Rodney Kroenlein, | 6 | | Andrea Kroenlein, Adam Burgener, Kelly Gregory, and Leann | 7 | | Estrada; and 7 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 10 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Paul Eugene Kroenlein; | 11 | | and be it further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Paul Kroenlein as an expression of | 14 | | our sympathy.
