| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of Marcille Steiner of Carlinville, who | 4 |
| passed away on April 9, 2010; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born February 7, 1920, in McVey, the | 6 |
| daughter of Fred and Callie (King) Baines; she married Fred | 7 |
| Steiner in Farmersville on August 10, 1941; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Steiner graduated from Farmersville High | 9 |
| School and was a homemaker; she was a member of St.Paul's | 10 |
| United Church of Christ in Carlinville, was the first woman to | 11 |
| serve on the church council, and sang in the choir for many | 12 |
| years; and
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; | 14 |
| her parents; and her three brothers, Melvin, Stewart, and Fred | 15 |
| Baines; and
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Marcille Steiner is survived by her son, David | 17 |
| (Janet) Steiner; her daughter, Ann Steiner; her brother, Lee | 18 |
| Baines; her two sisters, Velda McNew and Virginia Jones; her | 19 |
| grandson, Quinn (Stacey) Steiner; her great-granddaughters, | 20 |
| Morgan Steiner and Corinne Steiner; and her great-grandson, | 21 |
| Michael Byots; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 2 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 3 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Marcille Steiner; and be | 4 |
| it further
| 5 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 6 |
| presented to the family of Marcille Steiner as a symbol of our | 7 |
| sincere sympathy.
