| SENATE RESOLUTION
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of Nina Louise (Noland) McIntosh of | 4 |
| Granbury, Texas, who passed away on March 6, 2010; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on December 12, 1951, to Everett and | 6 |
| Betty Noland of Decatur; and
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, She was a graduate of Texas Woman's University and | 8 |
| a registered nurse; during her 23 years of public service as a | 9 |
| hospital administrator at Parkland Hospital, she served many | 10 |
| roles and was consistently successful, but was always known | 11 |
| most as a dedicated patient advocate; and
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She recently contributed, through her vision and | 13 |
| direction, to the opening of a new oncology outpatient clinic | 14 |
| at Parkland; and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, She will be remembered as a selfless and humble | 16 |
| servant to others and for her never failing hospitality; and
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Nina McIntosh is survived by her husband, Dan | 18 |
| McIntosh; her daughters, Sarah McIntosh and Shelby McIntosh | 19 |
| Dietz and her husband, Evan; her stepdaughter, Marsha Welsh and | 20 |
| her husband, Steve; her grandchildren, Lacy and Logan Welsh; |

| and her parents, brothers, and sister; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 3 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 4 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Nina McIntosh; and be it | 5 |
| further
| 6 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 7 |
| presented to the family of Nina McIntosh as a symbol of our | 8 |
| sincere sympathy.
