| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the | 3 |
| State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death in the line | 4 |
| of duty of Officer Robin G. Vogel of Springfield on Monday, | 5 |
| October 03, 2005; and
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Officer Vogel was born on September 6, 1968, in | 7 |
| Arlington Heights to Robert and Marilyn Pavlicek Cisowski; she | 8 |
| had been a Police Officer for the city of Decatur for the last | 9 |
| six years and was a member of the PB&PA #39 and the Springfield | 10 |
| Ski and Boat Club; she was a third-shift patrol officer, a | 11 |
| field training officer, and a cultural diversity officer; and
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She recently received her Associates Degree from | 13 |
| Lincoln Land Community College and enjoyed outdoor activities, | 14 |
| but she especially liked to play softball; and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, To her colleagues, she was known as energetic, | 16 |
| upbeat, and spirited; her enthusiastic attitude rubbed off on | 17 |
| all those with whom she came into contact; and
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Officer Robin Vogel has been deeply | 19 |
| felt by many, especially her son, Alex West; her parents, | 20 |
| Robert and Marilyn Pavlicek Cisowski; her sisters, Cheryl Davis | 21 |
| and Suzie Brown (husband, Bruce); her grandfather, Louis | 22 |
| Pavlicek; her nephews, Justin and Matthew Brown; her | 23 |
| ex-husband, Michael Vogel; her special friend, Adam Jahraus; | 24 |
| and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; she was | 25 |
| preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Grace Pavlicek, | 26 |
| and her paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Jennie Cisowski; | 27 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 29 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 30 |
| we mourn the passing of Officer Robin G. Vogel, and we extend |
