| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to recognize Bishop James Alvin Wills Sr.; | 4 | | and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bishop Wills is a native of Decatur; in 1988, he | 6 | | was ordained to preach the gospel and is the founder of Love | 7 | | Fellowship Christian Church, where
he presently serves as | 8 | | pastor and is very passionate about changing lives; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Bishop Wills spends his time serving every aspect | 10 | | of his ministry; he understands that being a servant is not a | 11 | | prestigious position but a lifestyle; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Bishop Wills was consecrated as a state bishop by | 13 | | the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International on June | 14 | | 26, 2017; he now serves as the state bishop for
Illinois and | 15 | | Wisconsin and is working to create positive change by promoting | 16 | | the pillars that address faith, family, fitness, and finance; | 17 | | and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Bishop Wills is the patriarch of the Wills' | 19 | | Family; he married his childhood sweetheart, Lady Joyce Wills | 20 | | in 1978; he is
the proud father of seven children, five girls, | 21 | | and two boys, Jamey, Jamesha, Janae, James Jr., Jamea, Josalin, |

| 1 | | and Johnathan; he has two sons-in-law, one
daughter-in-law, and | 2 | | eight grandchildren; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, When asked what family means to him, Bishop Wills | 4 | | states, "Family is my greatest asset and it is where I invest | 5 | | most of my time next to God"; therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 7 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 8 | | recognize Bishop James Alvin Wills Sr. and thank him for his | 9 | | service to his community; and be it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to Bishop Wills as a symbol of our respect and | 12 | | esteem.
