| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Allan Frederick Etheridge of Marengo, who | 4 | | passed away on April 22, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Allan Etheridge was born in Ullin to Frederick and | 6 | | Faye (Allen) Etheridge on February 23, 1938; he served in the | 7 | | United States Army as a combat engineer from 1962 to 1964; he | 8 | | married Marilyn J. Fuchs at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic | 9 | | Church in Johnsburg on June 12, 1965; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Allan Etheridge was employed for over 30 years at | 11 | | the Eaton Corporation (formerly Singer) in Crystal Lake; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Allan Etheridge enjoyed doing outdoor maintenance | 13 | | projects around his home; he was a history buff and enjoyed | 14 | | watching movies or television shows having to do with history; | 15 | | he was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church | 16 | | in Johnsburg and St. Mary Church in McHenry; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Allan Etheridge and his wife were residents of the | 18 | | McHenry/Johnsburg area for 51 years; they moved to Marengo to | 19 | | be closer to their daughter; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Allan Etheridge is survived by his wife of nearly |

| 1 | | 52 years, Marilyn; his children, Mark (Julie) Etheridge, | 2 | | William (Wendy) Etheridge, and Mary Ellen (John) Fitch; his | 3 | | grandchildren, Kristi, Brandon, Courtney, Sydney, and Skylar | 4 | | Etheridge, Madeline and Nicole Fitch, and J.T. Etheridge; his | 5 | | father, Frederick Etheridge; his brother, Stanley (Shiela) | 6 | | Etheridge; his sister, Paula Etheridge; and his | 7 | | brother-in-law, Tom Fuchs; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Allan Frederick Etheridge, and extend our sincere condolences | 11 | | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | 12 | | it further
