| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Kathleen Mary Panschar of Oak Park, who | 4 | | passed away on January 3, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Panschar was born in Oak Park to Jean | 6 | | Isabelle (Rigney) and Alexander Francis Maguire on July 10, | 7 | | 1934; she attended Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa; she | 8 | | married Edward Panshcar in West Chicago on November 3, 1962 and | 9 | | they settled in Oak Park; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Panschar taught elementary school in | 11 | | Glen Ellyn for six years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, In the 1970s, Kathleen Panschar's family became | 13 | | one of the founding families of the St. Giles Family Mass held | 14 | | in the gymnasium at St. Giles School; and | 15 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Panschar enjoyed yoga, reading, the | 16 | | Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and traveling; she and her husband | 17 | | lived for a time in Anchorage, Alaska and North Palm Beach, | 18 | | Florida; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Panschar was preceded in death by her | 20 | | siblings, Jean Elizabeth and Alexander Francis; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Kathleen Panschar is survived by her husband, | 2 | | Edward; her children, Ruth Mary Levy, Martha Jean Amore, | 3 | | Matthew George Panschar, and Alexander Francis Panschar; and | 4 | | her grandchildren, Kathleen Mary Amore, Lily Jean Amore, June | 5 | | Isabelle Amore, Jakob Ryan Levy, and Delilah Grace Levy; | 6 | | therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Kathleen Mary Panschar, and extend our sincere condolences to | 10 | | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 11 | | further
