| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James L. "Jim" Meader of Lockport, who | 4 | | passed away on April 4, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Meader was born in Joliet and a lifelong | 6 | | Lockport resident; he attended Taft Grade School and was a 1955 | 7 | | Graduate of Lockport Township High School; he was a United | 8 | | States Army Reserve Veteran; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, James Meader retired from the Caterpillar Tractor | 10 | | Company as a supervisor after 32 years of service; he was a | 11 | | lifelong farmer and an active member of the Will County Farm | 12 | | Bureau, where he served as past Vice-President; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, James Meader was a member of St. Patrick Parish in | 14 | | Manhattan and a former member of St. Dennis Church in Lockport; | 15 | | he was a member of the Minneapolis-Moline Collector's Club; he | 16 | | loved auction sales, Minneapolis-Moline tractors, and farming, | 17 | | but most of all he cherished spending time with his family and | 18 | | friends; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, James Meader was preceded in death by his parents, | 20 | | Louis and Gertrude (nee Stief) Meader, and his sister, Lois | 21 | | Meader; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, James Meader is survived by his wife of 34 years, | 2 | | Norma (nee Hennings); his daughter, Lisa Meader; his 2 | 3 | | step-children, Robert Domanic and Jodi Domanic; his 2 | 4 | | grandsons, Shawn Domanic and Alex Riccio; his sister, Gladys | 5 | | (late John) Matejcak; his 2 nephews, Mark (Jeanne) Matejcak and | 6 | | Steven (LuAnn) Matejcak; his great-niece, Stephanie (fiance | 7 | | Tim Turner) Matejcak; his great-nephew, Shane Matejcak; and his | 8 | | cousin, Henry (Mary Beth) Meader; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | James L. "Jim" Meader, and extend our sincere condolences to | 12 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 13 | | further
