| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Mary E. Pasiewicz, who passed away on | 4 | | October 9, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was born in Waukegan on August 21, | 6 | | 1919 to Lawrence and Mary (nee Dolence) Furlan; she attended | 7 | | Holy Family Church in North Chicago through the 8th grade; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was a homemaker and the owner of | 9 | | Bucks Pool Hall; she was employed at the Great Lakes Naval | 10 | | Station and with the Veterans Administration; she also worked | 11 | | as a nanny; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was a past President of Christian | 13 | | Singles; she loved people and conversation, listening to music, | 14 | | and traveling; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Mary Pasiewicz was preceded in death by her | 16 | | parents; her husband, Stanley (Buck); her son, Lawrence; and | 17 | | her 3 brothers, Frank, Louis, and Edward; and
