| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Theresa A. Skilling of Waukegan, who | 4 | | passed away on February 25, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Theresa Skilling was born in North Chicago to Adam | 6 | | and Mary Skrlac on July 30, 1924; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Theresa Skilling worked at Pfansteel and Crystal | 8 | | Greetings, and spent many working years at the Consumers | 9 | | Cooperative Credit Union in the Waukegan branch; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Theresa Skilling was a former member of Mother of | 11 | | God and Holy Family Churches, the Waukegan Moose Lodge, KSKJ | 12 | | St. Mary Lodge #79 in Park Place, and the United Steel Workers | 13 | | Retirees Club; and | 14 | | WHEREAS, Theresa Skilling enjoyed Balina, Polka dancing, | 15 | | and making cookies; she also enjoyed telling and hearing a good | 16 | | joke and spending time with her family; she loved meeting every | 17 | | new member and teaching them how to make her hard candy and | 18 | | cookies; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Theresa Skilling was preceded in death by her | 20 | | husband, Earl; her infant son, William; her parents; her |

| 1 | | brothers, John, Steven, William, and Joseph; and her sisters, | 2 | | Caroline, Mary, Katherine, and Stephanie; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Theresa Skilling is survived by her daughter, | 4 | | Maryann (Dale) Cleaver; her 2 granddaughters, Denise (Rob) Ruby | 5 | | and Diane Cleaver; her great-granddaughter, Brianna (Michael); | 6 | | her great-great-grandson, Sean; her brothers, Michael (Alice) | 7 | | Skrlac and Matthew (Pat) Skrlac; and many nieces, nephews, and | 8 | | friends; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Theresa A. Skilling, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 12 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 13 | | further
