| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James T. Gillespie of Waukegan, who | 4 | | passed away on June 7, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Gillespie was born in Waukegan to Thomas and | 6 | | Ellen Gillespie on January 26, 1985; he graduated from Waukegan | 7 | | High School in 2003; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, James Gillespie worked as a server for various | 9 | | restaurants in Chicago and Highland Park; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, James Gillespie was a member of St. Dismas Parish | 11 | | in Waukegan; he was a creative cook, a talented artist, a | 12 | | well-rounded athlete, and an avid sports fan; he was always | 13 | | checking to see when the next Cubs game would begin; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, James Gillespie was preceded in death by his | 15 | | father and his grandparents, Marcy and Herb Gillespie and Cal | 16 | | and Cele Cannon; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, James Gillespie is survived by his fiance, Susana | 18 | | Perez; his mother; his sister, Colleen (Andrew) Westerman; his | 19 | | nephews, Will and Sam Westerman; his many special cousins, | 20 | | aunts, uncles, and friends; and his two feline companions, |
