| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of John Valentine Juncer of Waukegan, who | 4 | | passed away on April 22, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Juncer was born in North Chicago on February | 6 | | 13, 1929; he graduated from St. Bartholomew Grade School in | 7 | | Waukegan and Waukegan Township High School; he served in the | 8 | | United States Army during the Korean War; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, John Juncer was the owner of the National Shoe | 10 | | Repair of Waukegan; he retired
from OMC in 1987 after 30 years | 11 | | of service; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, John Juncer was preceded in death by his brothers, | 13 | | Adolph, Casimir, Francis, and Albert; his sisters, Adeline and | 14 | | Mary; and
an infant granddaughter, Mary; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, John Juncer is survived by his wife, Florence | 16 | | (Pudlo); his sons, Fr. Bart
Juncer and Matthew Juncer; his | 17 | | daughters,
Therese Williams and Patty (Mark) Walaszek; his | 18 | | grandchildren,
Jennifer (Michael) Brozek, Nathaniel Juncer, | 19 | | Veronica (John) Singh, Anne (Chris Sheard) Walaszek, Jimi
| 20 | | Williams, and Luke Walaszek; his great-grandchildren, Leah and | 21 | | Daniel Brozek; and his sister, Rita Montella; therefore, be it
