| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Gary William Joyce of Crystal Lake, who | 4 | | passed away on November 8, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Gary Joyce was born in Jacksonville, Florida on | 6 | | June 25, 1954 to William E. and Patricia F. (nee Chadbourn) | 7 | | Joyce; he was a proud veteran of the United States Navy; he was | 8 | | stationed in Florida, where he worked as a nuclear power plant | 9 | | operator; he served on both the USS Forrestal and the USS | 10 | | Yosemite; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Gary Joyce worked for multiple architectural | 12 | | engineering companies such as EMC2, GKC, and Perkins and Will, | 13 | | all based out of Chicago; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Gary Joyce enjoyed working with computers, | 15 | | building computer networks, and spoiling his children; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Gary Joyce was preceded in death by both maternal | 17 | | and paternal grandparents; his father, William E. Joyce; his | 18 | | brother, Jeffery P. Joyce; and his infant son, Michael William | 19 | | Joyce; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Gary Joyce was the loving husband of 29 years to |

| 1 | | Susan (nee Lynch); the devoted father to Raeann Smith-Delinger, | 2 | | Jessica Louise Joyce, and Kelly Anne Joyce; the new grandfather | 3 | | to Dominic Anthony Manning; the beloved brother of Judy | 4 | | Joyce-Wilson; and the cherished son of Patricia F. Joyce; | 5 | | therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | Gary William Joyce, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 9 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 10 | | further
