| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Fremont A. "Jr." Rudsell of Reynolds, who | 4 | | passed away on April 10, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jr. Rudsell was born in Moline to Fremont Sr. and | 6 | | Mary (Carter) Rudsell on October 21, 1947; he served in the | 7 | | United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in | 8 | | Germany; he married Candice "Candy" Tillman on October 1, 1971; | 9 | | on that day, he also became the father to Candy's children; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Jr. Rudsell retired from Raymond-Muscatine, Inc., | 11 | | where he was an assembler for many years; he was also a retired | 12 | | member of the Reynolds Volunteer Fire Department; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Jr. Rudsell was a past member of the Jaycees; in | 14 | | his younger years, he was an accomplished horseman; he | 15 | | cherished camping at Loud Thunder and preparing meals for his | 16 | | family and friends; he played Santa for many years; farming | 17 | | with his son brought him great joy, and teaching his younger | 18 | | granddaughters about the farm was important to him; he took | 19 | | great pride in his family; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Jr. Rudsell was preceded in death by his parents; | 21 | | his brother, Donald; and many of his aunts and uncles; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Jr. Rudsell is survived by his wife, Candy; his | 2 | | children, Christopher (Kelly) Rudsell, Eric (Sommer) Lawrence, | 3 | | and Elizabeth (Stan) Boney; his grandchildren, Celina, Hunter, | 4 | | Samantha, Isabella, Cammie, Makenna, and Alexis; his siblings, | 5 | | John (Judy) Rudsell, Richard (Karen) Rudsell, Larry (Marla) | 6 | | Rudsell, Judy (Conrad) Washburn, Maxine (Jesse) Patterson, | 7 | | Sonja (Ralph) Brown, Billie Terrill, Nancy (Steve) Allnutt, | 8 | | Annie Rudsell, Rudy (Linda) Rudsell, and Rusty (Shelly) | 9 | | Rudsell; and his many other family members and friends; | 10 | | therefore, be it
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 13 | | Fremont A. "Jr." Rudsell and extend our sincere condolences to | 14 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 15 | | further
| 16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 17 | | presented to the family of Jr. Rudsell as an expression of our | 18 | | deepest sympathy.
