| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Rudolph W. Becker of Crystal Lake, who | 4 | | passed away on October 4, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was born on January 1, 1934 in | 6 | | Elgin; his parents were Rudolf and Lottie (nee Marohn) Becker; | 7 | | and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was a proud veteran of the United | 9 | | States Marine Corps during the Korean War; and | 10 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker worked for many years as a | 11 | | production manager at the Chrysler plant in Belvidere until his | 12 | | retirement; and | 13 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker enjoyed hiking, backpacking, and | 14 | | camping, music, dancing, books, history, traveling, | 15 | | researching music, old cars, and tractors, and spending time | 16 | | with his dog, Wally; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was preceded in death by his | 18 | | parents and 2 brothers, Max and William; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker is survived by 2 siblings, |

| 1 | | Charlotte Schumaker and Richard (Diana) Becker; 6 nieces and | 2 | | nephews, Lisa (Math) Ubachs, John (Luisa) Becker, Bill (Dawn) | 3 | | Schumaker, Lyddia (Jim) Hare, Lori (Tony) Laye, and Suzanne | 4 | | (Mike) Dovey; and many great-nieces and great-nephews; | 5 | | therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 8 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Rudolph W. Becker; and | 9 | | be it further
