| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Loyd M. Longenbaugh of Urbana, who passed | 4 | | away on December 12, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Loyd Longenbaugh was born on March 10, 1923 in | 6 | | Fisher; his parents were Rev. Guy O. and Leta M. (nee Reeter) | 7 | | Longenbaugh; he married Marjorie A. Dillman on August 8, 1948 | 8 | | in Champaign; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Loyd Longenbaugh attended school in Clinton; he | 10 | | retired from the United States Air Force as a pilot after 30 | 11 | | years, having served through World War II, the Korean War, and | 12 | | the Vietnam War; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, After retiring from the Air Force, Loyd | 14 | | Longenbaugh became a supervisor for MTD, where he retired after | 15 | | 35 years of service; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, Loyd Longenbaugh was a member of the Urbana | 17 | | American Legion, the Illinois State Grange, and the 1st Fighter | 18 | | Wing Association; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Loyd Longenbaugh was preceded in death by his | 20 | | wife; his 3 brothers; and his 3 sisters; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Loyd Longenbaugh is survived by his daughters, Sue | 2 | | C. (Carl) McLin, Lynn L. Dilley, and Ann (David) Rivier; his | 3 | | brother, Eugene Longenbaugh; his grandchildren, Justin McLin, | 4 | | Erin (Stephen) Andre, Meghan (Michael) Kneese, Molly (Amy | 5 | | Maddin) Dilley, Joshua Dilley, Neal (Lauryl) McKenry, and Ellyn | 6 | | (Travis) Lord; and his 6 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 9 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Loyd M. Longenbaugh; | 10 | | and be it further
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Loyd Longenbaugh as an expression of | 13 | | our sympathy.
