| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Lucille H. Becker of Fox Lake, who passed | 4 | | away on June 16, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lucille Becker was born on October 24, 1916 in | 6 | | Chicago; her parents were Victor and Charlotte (nee Dargatz) | 7 | | Sonntag; prior to living in Fox Lake, she was a resident of | 8 | | Hudson, Florida and Chicago; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Lucille Becker and her husband met in church when | 10 | | she was 16; together, they enjoyed their vegetable and flower | 11 | | garden and their time spent in Florida; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Lucille Becker was a former member of the Fox Lake | 13 | | Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Lucille Becker enjoyed crocheting and spending | 15 | | time with her family and friends; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, Lucille Becker was preceded in death by her | 17 | | parents and her husband, Edwin J. Becker, Sr.; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Lucille Becker is survived by 3 loving children, | 19 | | Edwin (Karen) Becker, Jr., Richard (Carol) Becker, and David |

| 1 | | (Cheryl) Becker; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; | 2 | | therefore, be it
| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | 5 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Lucille H. Becker; and | 6 | | be it further
| 7 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 8 | | presented to the family of Lucille Becker as an expression of | 9 | | our sympathy.
