| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 |
| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Carl | 4 |
| Anthony Traylor of Robbins, who passed away on January 5, 2008; | 5 |
| and
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on March 27, 1963 to Ivory Jr. and | 7 |
| Louie Rebecca Traylor; he professed a hope in Christ at an | 8 |
| early age and was baptized and became a member of Great Hope | 9 |
| Missionary Baptist Church in Robbins; he served the church as a | 10 |
| member of the Usher Board for several years; and
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He attended Harold L. Richard High School in Oak | 12 |
| Lawn and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political | 13 |
| Science from Boston College; he served as a collection manager | 14 |
| for several financial institutions; in October of 2007 he was | 15 |
| employed by Roberto Clemente Community Academy as the | 16 |
| Attendance Director and coach of the boys wrestling team; and
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, He enjoyed food, laughter, his family and friends; | 18 |
| his greatest joy was his daughter, Kaylin; and
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Carl Traylor is survived by his parents, Ivory Jr. | 20 |
| and Louie Rebecca Traylor; his daughter, Kaylin Strahan and her | 21 |
| mother, Laticia Strahan; his sisters, Loresse Traylor and |

| Kimberly McKinney (Bobbie, Jr.); his brothers, Terrell Traylor | 2 |
| (Barbara), Steve Traylor, Kenneth Traylor (Karen), and Darrow | 3 |
| Traylor (Lawanda); his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, | 4 |
| cousins, and other relatives and friends; therefore, be it
| 5 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 6 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 7 |
| mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Carl | 8 |
| Anthony Traylor; and be it further
| 9 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 |
| presented to the family of Carl Anthony Traylor as a symbol of | 11 |
| our sincere sympathy.
