| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Harold Hans Krecker of Crystal Lake, who | 4 | | passed away on June 7, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Harold Krecker was born in Norwood Park on July | 6 | | 16, 1925 to William and Elizabeth (nee Schulmeister) Krecker; | 7 | | he married Erna Timm on April 7, 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran | 8 | | Church in Crystal Lake; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Harold Krecker worked for Ormsby Motors in Crystal | 10 | | Lake for 60 years; he served as Chief of the Crystal Lake Fire | 11 | | and Rescue Department for over 34 years, going from volunteer | 12 | | to full-time status, retiring on July 16, 1985; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Harold Krecker was an avid golfer, and enjoyed | 14 | | fishing, hunting, traveling, and music; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Harold Krecker was preceded in death by his wife, | 16 | | Erna; his parents; brother, Walter; and sister, Lorraine | 17 | | Browder; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Harold Krecker is survived by his cherished | 19 | | daughter, Cheryl (Jerry) Grouzard; treasured grandsons, Jeff | 20 | | and Eric Grouzard; dear sisters, Eleanor Stegeman, Lucille |
