| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of Erin Brigid McEldowney, who recently | 4 |
| passed away; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was proud to be a St. Cajetan Warrior, a | 6 |
| Mother McAuley Mighty Mac, and an Illinois State Red Bird; she | 7 |
| was a proud graduate of Mother McAuley High School and Illinois | 8 |
| State University College of Nursing; and
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She was the first person to tell others that she | 10 |
| had the best family in the world and she spent as much time as | 11 |
| possible with her nieces and nephews; she loved to brag about | 12 |
| her sisters and the children in her family; and
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Being a true southsider, she loved the Chicago | 14 |
| White Sox, Notre Dame University and her Irish heritage; and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, She took her job as a nurse very seriously and was | 16 |
| a trusted leader on her floor at Advocate Christ Hospital; and
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Erin McEldowney was the beloved daughter of | 18 |
| Terrence J. McEldowney and Kathleen, nee Burns; the loving | 19 |
| sister of Moira McEldowney (Kenneth) Welniak, Regina (Scott) | 20 |
| Schoeberl, Sheila (Alexander) Lufrano, Kara (Jeffrey) Thomas, |

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 7 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 8 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Erin McEldowney; and be | 9 |
| it further
| 10 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 |
| presented to the family of Erin McEldowney as a symbol of our | 12 |
| sincere sympathy.
