| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of William "Willy" J. Ogrin, who passed away | 4 | | on November 14, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, William Ogrin was born in Waukegan to William and | 6 | | Rose Ogrin on October 17, 1950; he attended Mother of God | 7 | | School, St. Bede Academy, and Northern Illinois University; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, William Ogrin was a master carpenter and builder; | 9 | | he was most recently employed as a construction supervisor for | 10 | | Resa Construction, where he supervised the remodeling of high | 11 | | rise hotels, apartments, custom homes, and commercial | 12 | | projects; his talents can be seen in many custom homes, | 13 | | garages, and commercial sites in Lake and Cook Counties and in | 14 | | a casino he built in St. Maarten, Virgin Islands; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, William Ogrin was talented and hard working; he | 16 | | enjoyed golfing, fishing, working crossword puzzles, and | 17 | | cooking ribs; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, William Ogrin was preceded in death by his | 19 | | parents; and his brother, Anthony "Tony" Ogrin; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, William Ogrin is survived by his son, Bailey |

| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | William "Willy" J. Ogrin and extend our sincere condolences to | 9 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 10 | | further
