| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Harold Lloyd Ingold of Paxton, who passed | 4 | | away on April 6, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ingold was born on December 22, 1927 in | 6 | | rural Fisher; his parents were Raymond and Elsie Beck Ingold; | 7 | | he married Carol Beth Johnson on August 8, 1948 at Federated | 8 | | Church in Paxton; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ingold graduated from Paxton High School in | 10 | | 1945; and | 11 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ingold worked for and later owned and | 12 | | operated Paxton Farm Equipment Company in Paxton, the local | 13 | | John Deere dealer from 1948 until his retirement in 1986; he | 14 | | also served as president of the board of directors for Paxton | 15 | | Community Hospital and was a member of First United Methodist | 16 | | Church in Paxton; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ingold was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago | 18 | | Bears fan and played on a local traveling baseball team as a | 19 | | young man; he also enjoyed playing golf with his friends and | 20 | | spending time with his family; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ingold was preceded in death by his | 2 | | parents; 2 brothers, Clarence and Lyle; and 3 sisters, Dora | 3 | | Eichelberger, Betty Unzicker, and June Simpson; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Harold Ingold is survived by his wife, Carol; | 5 | | sons, Bill (Lynn) Ingold and Rick Ingold; granddaughter, Leslie | 6 | | (Tom) Cottrell; grandson, Jeff (Jennie) Ingold; | 7 | | great-grandchildren, Lindsey Windler, Carter and Callie | 8 | | Ingold, and Jeremy Cottrell; 2 sisters, Joann Horsch and | 9 | | Barbara Wilson; sister-in-law, Emma Ingold; brother-in-law, | 10 | | Maurice (Mary) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, | 11 | | be it
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 14 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Harold Lloyd Ingold; | 15 | | and be it further
| 16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 17 | | presented to the family of Harold Ingold as an expression of | 18 | | our sympathy.
