| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Charles William Fulton of East Moline, | 4 | | who passed away on April 17, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was born to Frank and Clara (Krack) | 6 | | Fulton in Cairo on November 3, 1930; he completed an 11 month | 7 | | assignment in Korea while serving in the United States Air | 8 | | Force from 1950 to 1954; he was awarded the Korean Service | 9 | | Medal, a United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense | 10 | | Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal; Charles married Sung | 11 | | Kim at Grace Baptist Church in East Moline on May 12, 1979; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was employed by Case IH, Rock | 13 | | Island; he retired in November of 1985; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was a great man of faith; he served | 15 | | many years as a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Grace | 16 | | Baptist Church in East Moline; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was preceded in death by his | 18 | | parents, Frank and Clara Fulton; his son, Daniel Fulton; his | 19 | | brothers, Albert, Donald, and Franklin; and his sisters, | 20 | | Violet, Beatrice, and Delores; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Charles Fulton is survived by his wife, Sung | 2 | | Fulton; his daughter, Susan McGivern; his son-in-law, Ryan | 3 | | McGivern; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Liam, and Isla | 4 | | McGivern; therefore, be it
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
| 7 | | Charles William Fulton and extend our sincere
condolences to | 8 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be it | 9 | | further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
| 11 | | presented to the family of Charles Fulton as an expression of
