SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Julie Lynn (Whitler) Anderson of Harrisburg, who passed away on May 19, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Julie Anderson was born in Eldorado on December 20, 1957; she was raised in a large and lively family; and

WHEREAS, Julie Anderson worked as a caring and dedicated pharmacy technician at Walmart Pharmacy for over 35 years; and

WHEREAS, Julie Anderson loved traveling, reading, dancing, singing, playing cards, and spending time by the ocean, especially while listening to the Beach Boys; and

WHEREAS, Julie Anderson's lifelong passion was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, whether on weekends or summer nights when the girls were out of school or attending their ball games where she was known to cheer loudly and proudly; and

WHEREAS, Julie Anderson was known for possessing a rambunctious and adventurous spirit and a selfless soul, offering guidance and unconditional love that touched many lives; she leaves a legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom; and

WHEREAS, Julie Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Anderson; her mother, Patricia (Elder) Clark; and her grandmother, Delsey (Ward) Whitler; and

WHEREAS, Julie Anderson is survived by her father, Keith (Brenda) Whitler; her brothers, Andy Whitler, Josh Whitler, and Brent Clark; her sisters, Leslie Hanson and Lori Burdeaux; her sons, Jeremy (Shawna) Johns and Jordan Anderson; her granddaughters, Annaclaire (Caleb), Jerra, and Mia; and her granddog, Remmy; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Julie Lynn (Whitler) Anderson and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Julie Anderson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
