| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Helen E. Horn, who passed away on October | 4 | | 4, 2010; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Helen Horn was born on September 5, 1922, in | 6 | | Alton; she was the daughter of George and Anna (Masel) Handler; | 7 | | she married David R. Horn on September 7, 1941, in Palmyra, | 8 | | Missouri; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Helen Horn served as a designer for Lammer's | 10 | | Floral for many years; she was also a member of College Avenue | 11 | | Presbyterian Church and a volunteer at Alton Memorial Hospital; | 12 | | and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Helen Horn was preceded in death by her husband; | 14 | | her brothers, Sam and Carl Handler; and her sisters, Katherine | 15 | | Webb and Elinor Norman; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Helen Horn is survived by her sons, David M. Horn | 17 | | and his wife, Debbie, Richard F. Horn and his wife, Becky, and | 18 | | John E. Horn and his fiancee, Autumn; her grandchildren, Mary, | 19 | | James, Mark, and Kevin Horn, Christine Salmon, and Kim Horn; | 20 | | and her 10 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
