| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Donald C. Freund of Melbourne, Florida, | 4 | | who passed away on July 29, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Donald Freund was born on June 18, 1933 in | 6 | | McHenry; his parents were Anthony P. and Margaret Freund; he | 7 | | was a resident of Melbourne, Florida for 24 years after many | 8 | | years in Crystal Lake; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Donald Freund served his country as a member of | 10 | | the United States Navy; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Donald Freund graduated from the University of | 12 | | Notre Dame; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Donald Freund was employed as a Certified Public | 14 | | Accountant for many years until his retirement in 1991; and | 15 | | WHEREAS, Donald Freund was a devout Catholic and a member | 16 | | of Ascension Catholic Church; he was a volunteer at Ascension | 17 | | Manor and also served as a former President; while residing in | 18 | | Crystal Lake, he was a member of Rotary International; and

| 1 | | parents; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers; and
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Donald Freund is survived by his wife of 60 years, | 3 | | Joan; 2 daughters, Cindy Ingleby and Sharon Annen; a son, Don | 4 | | Freund, Jr.; his grandchildren, Matt Ingleby, Katie Ingleby, | 5 | | Steve Ingleby, Sara Windhorst, Michael Freund, Anna Freund, | 6 | | Bradley Annen, and Jessica Annen; and 4 sisters; therefore, be | 7 | | it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 10 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Donald C. Freund; and | 11 | | be it further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Donald Freund as an expression of | 14 | | our sympathy.
