| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Marylyn Jane Wilson of Rock Island, who | 4 | | passed away on June 28, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson was born in Rock Island on July 19, | 6 | | 1921 to Simon and Florence Sass Baird; she married Harry L. | 7 | | Wilson on September 12, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio; she served in | 8 | | the United States Navy during World War II and was discharged | 9 | | as a Yeoman First Class in 1945; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson worked as a court reporter and | 11 | | owned and operated S & W Reporting in Rock Island for many | 12 | | years; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson was a member of St. Mary's Catholic | 14 | | Church in Rock Island and a charter member of the Mill Creek | 15 | | Country Club in Milan, now the Pinnacle Country Club; she | 16 | | enjoyed playing golf and bridge and had been a member of 13 | 17 | | different bridge groups at one time; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson was preceded in death by her | 19 | | parents; her husband, Harry; her sister, Florence "Maxine" | 20 | | Dahlberg; and her brothers, Richard and Clifford Baird; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Marylyn Wilson is survived by her children, Sheila | 2 | | Wilson, Thomas H. (Vickie) Wilson, and Paula (Craig) Tigerman; | 3 | | her grandchildren, Amy (Lance) Stockwell, Richard Albertson, | 4 | | Chelli (Mark) Esser, and Justin Tigerman (fiancée, Kathleen | 5 | | Borchers); her step-grandchildren, Jennifer Garrett (Pierre), | 6 | | Kyle Boultinghouse, Lindsey (Reggie) Zorg, Christopher | 7 | | (Christie) Gibrich, and Bethany (Justin) Kump; her 4 | 8 | | great-grandchildren; her 8 step-great-grandchildren; and | 9 | | several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 12 | | Marylyn Jane Wilson, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 13 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 14 | | further
