1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1141
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1141 on page 8,
3 line 4, by replacing "general anesthesia" with "anesthesia
4 services"; and

5 on page 8, line 8, by replacing "general anesthesia" with
6 "anesthesia services"; and

7 on page 8, lines 10 and 11, by deleting "Medical necessity
8 shall be determined by the attending anesthesiologist or
9 licensed anesthesia provider."; and

10 on page 9, line 19, after the period, by inserting "Section
11 365z.80 of the Illinois Insurance Code is not applicable to
12 health care plans under contract with the Department of
13 Healthcare and Family Services."; and

14 by deleting line 19 on page 23 through line 5 on page 25.
