1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 742
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 742 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Interchange Fee Prohibition Act is amended
5 by changing Section 999-99 as follows:

6     (815 ILCS 151/999-99)
7     Sec. 999-99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
8 becoming law, except that Article 65 takes effect July 1,
9 2024, Articles 25, 75, 80, 93, 125, 135, and 140 take effect
10 January 1, 2025, and Article 150 takes effect July 1, 2026
