1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2569
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2569 on page 2, by
3 inserting directly above line 1, the following:
4     "Beginning January 1, 2024, the Department of
5 Transportation shall report each year to the General Assembly:
6         (i) the volume of compost used in State highway
7     construction projects;
8         (ii) the status of compost and compost-based products
9     used in State highway construction projects; and
10         (iii) recommendations to maximize the use of compost
11     as a recycled material in State highway construction
12     projects.".
