SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William S. "Bill" Mueller of Colona, who passed away on December 26, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Bill Mueller was born in Highland Park, Michigan on July 31, 1968; he was the son of Stefan Mueller and Jacqueline Joslin McCurley; he served in the U.S. Army; he married Therese M. Bozzer in Canton, Michigan on June 3, 1994; and

WHEREAS, At the time of his passing, Bill Mueller was the team lead for the Fax Department at Wells Fargo Bank, where he was lovingly known as the "Fax Commander"; and

WHEREAS, Bill Mueller loved being outdoors, fishing, and gardening; he also loved his John Deere tractor and working on cars; he was a movie buff and a collector of Norse statues; and

WHEREAS, Bill Mueller was preceded in death by his in-laws, Marianne and Vincent Bozzer, and his maternal and paternal grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Bill Mueller is survived by his wife, Therese; his children, Alexander Mueller (Kaitlin), Henry Mueller, Madeline Mueller, Samuel Mueller, and Elizabeth Mueller; a grandchild to be born this June; his father, Stefan Mueller (Maria); his mother, Jacqueline Joslin McCurley (Timothy); his sister, Petra Mueller Hinderer (Robert); his brother, Zachary McCurley; and his adopted daughter, Jean Clark; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of William S. "Bill" Mueller and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bill Mueller as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
