SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Barbara K. (Kennedy) Walsh of Oak Brook; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Walsh was born on January 14, 1926 and passed away on December 9, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Walsh was the beloved wife of the late William Dowdall Walsh; the loving mother of William D. Jr., Cynthia Cashen, Julie (James) Doran, Elizabeth (William) Cullen, Thomas, David, Terrence, and the late Peter Walsh; the dear daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes (McGeeney) Kennedy; the proud grandmother of William, Joseph, and Brian Doran, Peter Cashen, Emma, Matthew, Elinor, and Grace Cullen, Thomas Jr., Timothy, and Margaret Walsh, and the late Michael Doran; the adoring sister of Stephen (the late Elizabeth) Kennedy and the late Gloria (the late John) Morrissy; and the proud aunt of many and friend to countless others; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Barbara K. Walsh and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Barbara Walsh as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
